The classic, but iconic, tourist traps

Of course if you’re going to Paris the Eiffel Tower is a must do! I prefer to go at night to see it light up when the sunsets or sparkle on the hour. If you want to see it from afar, as well as great views of the city, Galerie la Fayette provides a fantastic spot!

Sitting on the steps overlooking the city at sunset, spending the evening in Place du Tertre or even just visiting during the day, the Sacre Coeur, found in Mont Martre, is somewhere I have enjoyed many an evening sipping a super market bought wine on the steps.

Famous for the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and, of course, its iconic glass pyramids, the Louvre attracts up to 30,000 visitors a day. I found visiting in a small group, during the week can make the experience far less overwhelming. Use Carrousel du Louvre for a quicker entry !

Recently refurbished and free to enter the Notre Dame is not one to be missed. With endless amazements in every nook one could spend forever in here, although can be done in under an hour. The snaking queue seems long but does move fast

If you want to see everything at once in Paris, taking the metro to Concorde is a great place to start! Situated at the end of the Champs-Élysées, you can decide whether to head into the Tuileries Gardens—perhaps stopping at L’Orangerie to admire Monet’s Water Lilies—or continue through the gardens to the Louvre for a look at the infamous Mona Lisa. However, if art isn’t your thing, you could stroll down the Champs-Élysées for an essential visit to the creations of Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, or Hugo Boss.

Arc de triomphe is the coolest and the one I would recommend you go to the most! With a pretty short queue to get to the top it provides the best view of Paris; the Place de l’Etoile, the Champs-Élysées, the Eiffel Tower and La Défense, the list goes on and I could have been up there forever.
