La Boca
Head to straight to calle Caminito, and don’t stray too far, for an afternoon of bold colour, murals and many a nod to football legends. The street is lined with brightly painted houses, street performers, tango dancers, and artisan stalls. Also the home of Boca Juniors, one of Argentina’s most famous and successful football clubs

What was once a port neighborhood situated on the Riachuelo river has become a very popular tourist attraction and certainly a must when visiting Buenos Aires. Vibrant tin houses made of leftover shipyard materials line the streets, meaning every corner is never short of a spectacle.

There’s plenty to see and one can definitely tick all the Argentinian boxes although one could argue the on street tango, Messi impersonator or countless souvenirs could be a bit tacky and forced. Definitely don’t stray from the main busy streets as some are far less accommodating…
